Accounts Semi-Senior Location: Central London Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time Reed Accountancy is looking for a high-calibre Accounts Semi-Senior to join the expanding team of a medium-sized accounting firm based in the heart of London. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An interest in understanding clients’ businesses and contributing to the growth of our niche-oriented practice is essential. Day to day of the role: Preparing accounts from client records and ensuring accuracy in the working paper file. Demonstrating knowledge of Income Tax and VAT in account preparation. Reviewing work in progress (WIP) and debtors with a view to profitability. Assisting Partners in client meetings when required and acting as a responsible team member. Providing support, development, and guidance to junior staff members. Producing work for manager and partner review with minimal need for further input, highlighting issues and suggesting potential solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Computer literacy is a must. Up-to-date technical knowledge, including recent developments in accounting standards. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel. ACCA part qualified or fully qualified (study support is not provided) Minimum of 1 years’ experience in accounts preparation assignments. Working knowledge of Xero, VT, Sage Line 50, and CCH Central. Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
