Your Role as Audit Assistant Manager This role is about more than just managing audits. You will be a key player in our client’s mission to deliver exceptional audit and accountancy services. Your role will involve:- Leading audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring high standards of client service and quality.- Managing a seed portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for the entire audit process, and reporting directly to partners.- Coaching and developing junior audit team members to enhance their skills and ensure a cohesive team dynamic.- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key contact for audit-related queries and advice.- Assisting with advisory work such as financial forecast modeling, business planning, and financial due diligence, supporting the firm’s broader business advisory services. What You’ll Need to Succeed as Audit Assistant Manager: – Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least one year of post-qualification experience in an audit role.- Experience: Proven track record in leading audit teams and managing audit engagements.- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused and commercially-minded approach.- Personality: A proactive, organised, and enthusiastic team player who is eager to develop professionally and contribute to the team’s success.
