The Team: The role sits within the global audit team responsible for the audit coverage of Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) and GTS. Additionally, the team is responsible for EMEA Credit Risk audit coverage. This is a high-visibility role and requires engagement with both global and regional stakeholders across various businesses and functions within the Line of Business and act as a global SME for certain designated business / product group within Global Banking. The role: The role is at an Audit Manager level and involves playing a lead role in the audits of Global Transaction Services (GTS) front office activities including review of business strategy, governance and risk management, new product approval process, ongoing product management, client selection, sales processes, and applicable laws & regulations. GTS products includes Global Payments & Receivables, Trade & Supply Chain Finance, Commercial Cards, Corporate Deposit, Liquidity & Cash Management, Clearing, Bank Notes. We expect the individual to: Work as an individual contributor or as an Auditor In-charge on global GTS audits and conduct testing independently but maintain ongoing interaction with the other audit team. There will be opportunities to work on other broader banking areas (e.g., Capital Markets, M&A, Corporate Banking), Credit Risk and other integrated audits. Demonstrate professionalism and competence. Stay informed of current economic developments, applicable regulations, risk, processes, and controls relevant to GTS and / or other risk areas impacting the business. Exercise critical and out of box thinking, analytical skills and professional judgment to influence business partners, senior business managers and peers. Help business partners to balance their business strategy with appropriate risk management controls. Work in a very detailed manner as well as look broadly across a population and develop connections and themes identifying risks and concerns. Develop and mentor junior team members by providing day to day coaching and guidance. What we look for: Solid Internal Audit/front office/risk management experience of the Global Transaction Services businesses. Knowledge of GTS products / process and associated risks including operation risk. Able to perform effectively under pressure and comfortable at engaging with senior management at all levels of an organization across regions on complex issues. Strong project management skills. Solid risk assessment, financial analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to apply critical thinking. Exceptional attention to details and ability to ask insightful questions to fully understand the business, process, and risk. Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Skills that would help: Tertiary education or the equivalent work experience Professional Certification – CA / ACCA / CFA / FRM / CIA will be a plus.
