We are supporting an established team, who are expanding their cloud infrastructure. As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the Azure-based cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and performance of cloud environments, driving key projects that support business growth. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. Manage and optimize Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and security. Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. Monitor and manage cloud performance, optimizing cost efficiency. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to integrate best practices. Ensure compliance with industry standards, particularly in relation to financial services regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS). Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, providing senior-level support. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of team skills and knowledge. Key Skills & Experience: 5 years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure. Strong experience with Azure DevOps , including CI/CD pipeline management. Advanced knowledge of Azure infrastructure services such as VMs, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Virtual Networks, and Azure Functions. Expertise in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or Bash). Deep understanding of networking, security , and governance in Azure. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) highly desirable. Experience working within financial services or a regulated industry is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
