Embeddable is a dynamic technology company specialising in helping individuals and businesses bring their ideas to life through innovative software solutions. They’re currently expanding their team and seeking a talented Level 4 Software Development Apprentice to join them on this exciting journey. As a Level 4 Software Development Apprentice, you’ll be an integral part of their team, working alongside experienced developers on a variety of challenging projects. They’re looking for a passionate and inquisitive individual who is eager to learn and grow their skills in the field of software development. In this role, youll work towards your Level 4 Software Development qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to their internal coding standards and best practices. Contribute to various testing activities, such as unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and acceptance testing, to ensure the quality of their software. Develop a strong understanding of programming languages, frameworks, and tools relevant to web development. Work effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies through self-directed learning and training. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £16,770-£22,308 per annum Two salary reviews in your first year, then annually Working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm Flexible working hours ?Hybrid and remote working opportunities 25 days of annual leave per year, plus Bank Holidays Personal training budget of £1,000 per year Reserved time to commit to your own training and CPD Fortnightly 1:1s Long-term client relationships Expansive projects with opportunities to learn new tech Attend events and contribute to events across the UK Plus a private pension, regular socials, and more Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: A strong interest in software development and a passion for learning new technologies. A solid foundation in programming concepts and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Minimum grade 4/C in English and Maths at GCSE is required for this role. Your Training with Baltic: With our unique apprenticeship programme, you’ll build an impressive range of coding skills and learn to thrive as a junior developer. On completion, 95% of our learners remain in full-time employment.
